GGRRRRR!!! I have been searching…and searching…and SEARCHING for a LARGE PRINT Bible for Elijah! I can find all the braille Bibles in the world… but a large print one, HA!! Many say large print, but he needs about an 18pt font and most aren’t. Plus I’d like to get it as close to the one he received from church. Which is a New Revised Standard Version, adding that just makes this search a whole lot funner!
I did find one that I thought would work. Well…the $117.00 price drove me to search further!
ANYONE…SOMEONE…HELP!!! Sunday School is about to begin and I don’t want Elijah to struggle like last year! His Bible is not appropriate for him, not even with his magnify glass!

This one is NIV, but it’s only(!) $41.

It looks like the only NRSv one is $73 for the full four volumes. It says you can buy them separately, so maybe you could start with the New Testament volume?

How frustrating that it’s so difficult to find him something as basic as a Bible!

Thanks TONS Heather! I’ll have to check these two out. I’m at work now, but will when I get home.
Yes, it is fustrating. I notice more and more how the “world” does not take visual impairments in concideration. I never would have notice either, had our world not been effected by blindness.
My work, (hospital) just put up new directional signs for visitors, there’s NO WAY Elijah would be able to read them. The letter size is small and spacing is very small between lines. And to think majority of patient’s are elderly and have troubles seeing…ya think the hospital thought of this…NOPE!
My favorite is, signs with braille on them, but the sign is high and out of reach! HHMMM-must of been a man that thought of that one!
